The Fokker D.VII in France
During the war, examples of the Fokker D.VII where captured by the French, one of these was O.A.W. build '2009/18'. This example was thoroughly studied.
When the war ended, Germany surrendered a large number of Fokker D.VII's to the French. They were collected at French airfields and other collection points. A number of these were sold to at least Poland, but they also used a number in their air force.
No further information is available at this moment.
One Fokker D.VII, the '6796/18', is preserved at the Musée de l'air et de l'Espace at Le Bourget.
